Get to Know a bit about our individual roles...

SHIRLEY (SHUOHAN LOU)

Videographer, Communications and Editor

Shirley's main role in this project was technical and post-production. She shot and edited the interview with the Biswas family, as well as collecting images and video on match day and the interview with Bill.
She also assisted with communications and she acted as the contact for the Biswas Family, corresponding and organising interviews with them.
Shirley is also responsible for booking equipment and interview space.
On top of that, Shirley contributed to the interview questions for shoot days.

LECHEN LI

Videographer and Editor

Lechen's role during the project was creating visual content for the website.
She shot all the footage from our visit to the foodbank, both video and also photography. Moreover, she also edited that footage for the website.
Lechen is also responsible for the creation of the "Hunger Saver" logo, using her skills on photoshop.
She also shot footage at the interviews for the Biswas family, Bill and the match day.
She provided our main DSLR camera, tripod and helped book the interview space.

BETH RICHARDSON

Interviewer, Writer and Communications

Beth's main role for this project was as interviewer and communicator. Beth organised the visit to the foodbank, the filming of the match day and the meetings and interviews with Bill.

She kept track of correspondence between our interviewees and schedules, including phone calls with the foodbank.

Beth also acted as the main interviewer for the interviews with the Biswas family, Bill and Dave & Robert.

Beth also wrote the two features on Dave Kelly and Robert Daniels.

JESSICA (JIALUN LIAN)

Writer and Videographer

Jessica's main role in the project was as a writer and videographer.
She helped to shoot both the interview with Bill and the Biswas family, as well as foodbank footage.
Moreover, as Jessica is a writer, she wrote the blog post on the foodbank and our visit.
Jessica also helped with interview preparation and was responsible for booking equipment for interviews and shoot days.

STACEY (XIAOYING LIU)

Videographer and Editor

Stacey is a videographer and editor.
She played a big role in the technical aspects of this project.
She shot the footage for the Biswas family interview. She also attended the foodbank and match day, and shot the visuals.
Stacey had the task of editing the interviews with Bill.
Moreover, she also helped prepare for shoot days and organisation on the day.

MILLIE LOCKHART

Transcriber and Editor

Millie attended match day and transcribed the audio from the Dave Kelly and Robert Daniels interview for the features.
Millie also attended the foodbank visit and edited the front-page cookery video.
She also helped to design the website layout, in particular the front page design.
